Valm- Do you find a lot of fall down with the smash box eye liner/ shadow? Do you use a primer?

Hi, the Smashbox shadows are still in good condition considering their age. I am presently using Benefit Lemon Aid as primer, apply one of the matte Smashbox shadows on top to "set" it then apply one of the shimmery shadows on top. I then use Kat von D Tattoo liner and apply the black eyeshadow from the Full Exposure palette on top of that.

If you like felt tip type liners I would heartily recommend the KVD one. It is expensive but it lasts me a year. Like I said above, I think it's coming to the end as it's applying patchily hence why I'm applying the Smashbox shadow on top.

I do however find the Too Faced Rich Girl eyeshadow a little troublesome as that migrates easily.

    Hello!

I just thought I'd share this, I was talking to a friend/customer today who was incredulous at the idea I was going to wear glasses at my wedding, I mean she was PROPERLY shocked! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I said I have to wear glasses or I can't see and I can't wear contacts due to a strange eye condition, she said my make-up would look really faded and I just told her I put more on, I can get away with it behind these!

She thought I was going to go without and just be blind, ON MY WEDDING DAY!!:eek::eek:

haha that's funny! I know people who wear glasses every single day but went to the effort to trial contacts and then wore them on their wedding day, but they didn't look like themselves I feel.
I wear glasses and they are very much an element of my personal style can't imagine life without them and they distract from my under eye circles when I am feeling lazy

Used to love TBS body butters. When the recession hit there used to be loads of offers/glitches on when ordering these online and when we used to visit the Outlet at Cheshire Oaks more often I'd pick them up. I find the Boots Extracts body butters comparable and those by Bath and Body Works.

    Cremo Shave Cream
    [STRIKE]Lacura “Flash Balm” copy
    Bare Minerals Good Hydrations Primer
    [/STRIKE]Nivea SPF for face
    Nivea Eye make up remover
    Decleor Herbal Clay Mask
Elemis Sea Lavender and Samphire Shower milk
    Garner Ultimate Blends Argan shampoo
    Garnier Ultimate Blends Argan Conditioner
    OPI Original Nail Envy
Samples - The Ordinary and Christophe Robin
    Dove Essential Body Lotion
    E45 Body Lotion (200ml)

Need to go back and check my numbering however for now I have two UUs from the list above:-

Lacura Flash Balm copy - this was lovely. So glad that I bought two at the same time so I have a back up.

Bare Minerals Good Hydrations primer. Prefer a silicone based primer, I think. I had to mix this with the above mentioned balm to help it absorb. WNBA. Have a Lacura copy of the Smashbox primer to try next.

Speaking of Lacura there was a tip off on Facebook that the hot cloth cleanser was back in stock so I have popped in this morning. So INS:-

    2 x Hot cloth cleanser
1 x Glycholic pads (see if I can replace my Murad toner with these)
    1 x Q10 serum.

I did see that they are now selling a copy of Pixi Glow Tonic and YSL Touche Eclat. They also had a cream called Miracle Cream but I could not figure out what this was a copy for.

    Charlotte Tillbury?

My mother made me be a bridesmaid without wearing my glasses when I was 12 and couldn't see my own feet clearly. I don't recommend it.
Been wearing glasses since I was 7 and everything is now fuzzy passed my nose.

I ordered the Liz Earle essentials set yesterday, I have trawled the internet for a cleanser but have decided to carry on using the LE, it works for my skin which is the main thing as my skin is super fussy, it is dry, oily, combination and prone to breakouts and congestion. When you work it out with the extra things you get it is pretty good value and last me about 10-12 weeks. I did check Aldi for the cleanser but they didn't have any, it is a 15 mile round trip to go there, they are so hit and miss with stock and I wondered if it was just a copy of the idea and the packaging rather than the product being as good.

Bought DH a Bath House cologne this week, I got him Spanish Fig and Nutmeg, it is amazing, lasts really well and a totally distinctive and unique scent, I think I may go back for the Bergamot one.

I used to enjoy a lot of Liz Earle products but now only use the Instant Boost Skin Tonic regularly (though I do also love Botanical Essence No 9). I used to love the Skin Repair as night cream but now want one that contains Retinol. This is the drawback for me ordering the kit direct is that I’ll invariably dislike the bonus gift. Emma still likes C&P. Her skin is very reactive and she’s now found a regime that really works so I’ll continue to repurchase for her. For me though C&P stopped working effectively for me some years ago when LE changed the formula so I don’t mind using a cheaper alternative.

Notwithstanding all the above though I would not be adverse to buying a QVC kit say If it also contained Body Care because I do like those products but don’t choose to buy them singularity.
