2 INS Clairol Root Touch Up Kit- on offer at 2 for £7. My hairdresser was due on Wednesday night but I had to cancel because I was ill. My roots were in dire need and he’s not coming again until 27 March. One used today.

I’m planning on a trip to Superdrug tomorrow. The bottle of Jack Wills Body spray that I’m using has split so I intend to buy a spray bottle to decant into. I’m also going to get the ELF concealer. All makeup is on 3 for 2 at the moment and I’m tempted to get a Maybelline highlighter (saw this on a Jeffrey Starr YouTube video compared to a Charlotte Tilsbury one) and also feel I need a lip liner as my lipsticks keep bleeding (must be my age). Am considering the Rimmel ones.

I’ve had to relegate my Philosophy Pure Grace perfume to room spray as both MRM and a work colleague have commented that it doesn’t smell so nice. MRM has a particularly good “nose” and he said it smelt off.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    *Dior pore minimiser primer
*Use eye shadow and eye shadow primer every weekend
*Use full sized perfumes every weekend
    *1 hair styling product
    *Aussie 3 min miracle oil
*TBS oils of life intensely revitalising cream
*TBS oils of life intensely revitalising facial oil
Sadly I think I will have to UU the TBS products on my body, I have too many face care products open and this is the last of the non-NYR face care products I have left.

I’ve had to bring some opened Neal’s Yard products for display/sampling into my own stash to use before they expire. I need to plan my own purchases around this in the future.. I’ve swapped a body wash, and will start to use wild rose beauty balm which is multipurpose so I’m confident I can make a good dent in this, the other items will have to wait....
  • I am a returner for March. I gave away some hand cream, lipsticks and moisturizers so it reduced the stash by a good amount. I have reduced it down to three drawers, progress compared to before. I doubt that i will ever cure this addiction but keeping it under control it will be enough.

OGX shampoo out. I have many in reserve, as I buy the SLS free shampoo when it is on offer.
Still panning the urban decay pallette- have 2 large pans with a small amount left. I will get there by christmas next year.
I tossed out a lip balm due to a cold sore.
4 years of use of a mac blusher and i hope it will be finished. It has a tiny rim of product left.

Hopefully some of these long haul items will be used up soon. I am determined to finish them- knowing how long a product lasts makes me more weary of buying on a whim things that will never be finished .

Id love to know how you get on with these :)

    Will do :)

1 UU - Grow Gorgeous Scalp Detox Treatment. This was from LF beauty box and I didn't like it. It was hard to wash out and I didn't think it made a difference to my hair.

Count me in again, albeit a little late to the party!

Some UU from last month's PP list:

Nip & fab Sugared almond body butter - WBA I liked the scent of this one.

Mum forbidden fruit deodorant - WBA, did the job well and I liked the fruity scent.

Bathing garden a snow globe world body scrub- WBA I love the scent of this one and these are just right, nice and scrubby without being scratchy or harsh. The scent lingered a little too.

Asda 6 in 1 advanced mouthwash - WBA did the job fine and was good value for money.

Shwartzkopf gliss colour care shampoo- WNBA this made my hair feel really greasy.

Superdrug anti dandruff 2 in 1 shampoo- WMBA this was ok, did the job well but I wasn't hugely keen on the scent.

Bomb cosmetics Christmas baubles soap - WBA I like the scent of this one and it lathers up well.

Bath & body works twisted peppermint deep cleansing hand soap - WBA I love the scent and it does the job well, lasted a long time too.

Superdrug charcoal mini toothpaste- WNBA didn't like the taste of this.

Sanctuary fresh faced purifying facial wash - WGA HG product. Love the scent of this and it doesn't irritate my skin, my face feels super clean after using it.

Pantene colour protect intensive hair mask - WBA this smells really pleasant and does the job well.

Montagne jeunesse Dead Sea mud pac face mask - WMBA didn't love the chemical scent but it did make my face feel soft and refreshed.

VALM - I won't buy the Jack Wills body sprays again, DD had the trio and the pumps failed on two of them.

    uu

Avon White Tea & Jasmine Bubble Bath 1L - does what it is supposed to, replaced with another Avon one from the stash.

Nicky Clarke Instant Calmer 30ml - this is nice, I have more in the stash plus lots of other similar products so no need to buy just yet.

    TA

No7 Single Eyeshadow in Khaki - am wearing this again today but I have tons of eyeshadow in general and loads that I love using and I just don't love this so there is no point in keeping it.

These were the things I decluttered last month:

Stila Not So Nude Palette - love this but let DD have it.
Body Shop Radiant Highlighter - to DD
No7 Lip Crayon in Daydreamer - love this but let DD have it
No7 Lipstick Queen Lipstick in Amethyst - as above
Clarins Lip Perfector mini in 05 - as above plus I have a full size of this
Poppy King Lipstick in Intrigue - lovely but gave to DD
Body Shop Shimmer Cube single from the chocolate quad to DD
Laura Mercier Daring by Day Palette - to DD
Rimmel Brixton Brown Palette - to DD
MUA Undress Me Too - to DD
Barry M Glow Palette - to DD
Natural Collection Blackcurrant Lip Gloss - to DD

The following have actually left the house:

Rimmel Match Perfection Blush - no pigment
Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Permanent Taupe - too dry
    Pixi Quad - no pigment
MUA Undressed Palette - old and 1 colour had mold on:eek:
MUA Heaven & Earth Palette - old
Benefit Smokin Eyes Palette - took out the shadows and got rid of the concealer and the brightener and the packaging.
Estee Lauder Duo Sugar Biscuit/Tempting Mocha - very well used and old
Barbara Daly Light Illusion Highlighter - rubbish
Clinique Colour Pop Lipstick in Red - this was a freebie but was just too high maintainance
Bare Minerals Flawless Diamond Pigment - doesn't apply well and doesn't look good
Body Shop Smoky Moonstone Palette - only 1 colour I liked but I have so many similar ones
    Revlon Addictive Quad
Bare Minerals Smoky Diamond Pigment - too hard to apply
Tanya Burr Midnight Sparkles Nail Polish - have another of these and this one was new so I donated it to the charity shop
Body Shop Shimmer Cube single from the chocolate quad
Rodial Stem Cell Lip Balm - separates in the tube, is greasy and does nothing, I also donated a sealed one of these
Max Factor Soft Murano Cream Blush - well used but very old

I feel terrible getting rid of so much but at least I don't buy all this stuff anymore - just buy what I know works now.
