Finished another eyeshadow from my Smashbox Full Exposure palette. 9 shadows out of 14 left although I don’t want to pan the black eyeshadow. I have been using it on top of my eyeliner though.

I think I may hit pan on Too Faced Rich Girl from the Chocolate Gold palette soon as I noticed it was powdery this morning. Maybe all the glitter is overlay? I also think my Kat Von D eyeliner is nearly done as it was quite patchy this morning.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Valm- Do you find a lot of fall down with the smash box eye liner/ shadow? Do you use a primer?

    Hello!

I just thought I'd share this, I was talking to a friend/customer today who was incredulous at the idea I was going to wear glasses at my wedding, I mean she was PROPERLY shocked! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I said I have to wear glasses or I can't see and I can't wear contacts due to a strange eye condition, she said my make-up would look really faded and I just told her I put more on, I can get away with it behind these!

She thought I was going to go without and just be blind, ON MY WEDDING DAY!!:eek::eek:

Lush angels on bare skin 100g. HG have been using this ages.

Liz Earle cleanser 200g. Second time I’ve used this and I really like it. Really good for gently taking of mascara. Bit pricy but cheaper on eBay and it has lasted me since October.

I have a lush solid cleanser to use now - jade roller. It’s ok but worry it may be a tad greasy.

L’Or!al colour correcting cream. I had to use this regularly to really appreciate the product. Using it with a primer helped and it stayed yet felt light. Would consider buying again I think. I’m now either goi g to use up benefit porefessiobal in its place or go to a proper foundation.

    PP carried over:

    [STRIKE]L’Or!al colour correcting cream[/STRIKE]
    5x samples (any)
    [STRIKE]Liz Earle cleanser 200g
Lush angels on bare skin scrub 100g[/STRIKE]
1x mascara (think this is by essence in wilko)

Oh I forgot a couple more:

Lush supertramp bubble bar: love the ‘green’ scents but I think this was quite old and it was definitely not as strong

Autumn leaf bath bomb: HG LOOOOOVE this scent.

2x magnesium bath salts. from the pound shop. I did find my legs felt more recovered.

I don't see anything wrong with wearing your glasses on your wedding day. It's your day, and your life, do what you like and need to do.

I had to start wearing glasses last year, first time ever, and I was amazed I could manage before getting them. I've gone from poor vision to HD vision, and it's amazing :rotfl:

    One TA today:

Aromatherapy Associates Revive Body Gel 40ml sample WNB. Tried this last night and it made my skin itch a lot.

    One UU this evening:

La Roche Posay Cicaplast Levres Lip Balm 7.5ml WDBA and will do again and have done. Love this lip balm, really helps repair my lips when they're chapped or very dry.
  • Kadison- Wear your glasses and a lovely dress and enjoy the day!

Imagine no glasses OMG! you would be complementing the lamp post instead of auntie Betty, you might toss something else instead of flowers and kiss the vicar instead of your hubby. You need to be able to see as well as you can to enjoy the day, the glasses are part of you and you will look amazing with them. Don't worry.

If you feel like treating yourself you could get new frames that are super fancy or stylish, have a browse in the optician. I am restricted to the same james joyce shape due to weird eyes. I have a facial recognition issue as well as bad vision, I would make all manner of mistakes with with relatives names with no glasses.

I clearly needed them when I first got them but everything was at a slant for quite a few days, my depth perception was completely shaken by putting glasses on for the first time!:rotfl:

Thank you but I'm not at all worried about it, I've been wearing glasses full-time since since I was 14 (so 26 years), I feel I look wrong without them, I don't look like me on my passport, driving licence etc!

I do have some new frames for the day actually, they're these......

(The ones at the top in matte purple), though they are quite different to my normal ones so it may take a while to get used to them!
