Massive overreaction on the OP part....

    Seriously?

You must have been in CS for too long, you need to chill out a bit.

Yes, I work in CS too and people like OP are a nightmare to work with to be honest - they usually never worked anywhere else and have no idea about anything else so take every minor thing and create an issue

Hopefully you don't have a boy in pinkshoes' classroom as it may be a case that they aren't sure if your child is struggling or not.

You are right. I am not sure they are struggling, because I actually think they are LAZY!!!

So LAZY (but capable) pupils do not need my help in that way as it would be a waste of my time.

Instead I help them by phoning their parents and making sure sanctions are out in place both at home and school for inadequate work.

    (This is working well).

You can criticise my teaching methods all you like, but I do my best to get the best out of all the kids.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

This thread has gone off on a tangent that Mumsnet can only dream about.

I'm sure this event has happened now. I hope the OP went undercover as a laydee and can report on what he has been missing out on all these years.

    Well what about the men?

You must be very shortsighted if you think treating men badly, because your great, great, great grandmother had it abit tough is the answer...

Sorry 'lazy' pupils don't need a teacher to motivate them to learn - that's literally your job!

You don't do your best to get the best out of all your kids, clearly by your own admission. Frankly you sound like a terrible teacher.

Are you equally against (and I have seen them, I am not making them up for the sake of argument) male only mental health activities?

What like female only smear tests?

How on earth are you comparing health treatment to extra curricular study sessions?

Come back when there's no gender pay gap and we'll talk.

    Can you define pay gap?

Do you mean earnings gap? Have you considered why there might be one?

There's also a double meaning to "staff outing" that would be entirely inappropriate to point out on this thread.
