Enterprise Car Club demanding damage payment.

Thanks for this message that you posted on this discussion.
I am having a similar problem with Enterprise Car Club and after some searching came across this post.
There were 15 hours between my returning the car and the subsequent vehicle collection. During that time a wing mirror has been damaged quite significantly. There is simply no way I would not have noticed a smashed wing mirror on collection or if it had happened during my rental.
I have challenged their claim with them and as of yet not received a response. But feel that the burden of proof must lie with them as the accuser, proving something didn't happen is almost impossible. And the way they seem to want to operate would essentially leave the car as my responsibility until the next person hires the vehicle.
Fortunately I do have the excess insurance many here have noted, but it is now a matter of principle. If necessary I will raise the complaint with the BVRLA so many thanks for pointing me in the direction of that.0 -
