Highview in Tesco Silberburn, Glasgow - MISTAKEN TIMING/PCN

Hi
I was hoping someone could help me with this.
On Friday 23rd February 2019 I got a PCN from Highview about parking on 12th February in Tesco carpark in Silverburn, Glasgow. The letter includes a photograph of my car going in at 9.14 and coming out the carpark at 15.40. So they are giving me the £70 charge for staying for 6hrs 25mins - 4 hrs 25mins over the 2hr limit!!
That day I was in the carpark, entering at 9.14 but left again at around 9.45 as had to be home for a delivery of a bed between 9.55 and 11.55. I have the email from the delivery company giving me that time slot. I also have proof from said company stating what time they delivered the bed and it shows my signature at 11.27.
I returned to the car park sometime after 14.35 and left again at 15.40. All in, I was parked in Tesco's carpark for less than 2 hours on the 12th February.
I know I purchased something at Tesco in the morning but have no receipt to proof it although undoubtedly used my Clubcard.
I am not sure what to do as Highview must only have a camera pointing at the one entrance/exit and I was unlucky enough to enter at 9.14 and leave from it at 15.40 but used the other entrance/exit at 9.45 and 14.35. Highview have made a mistake here.
I worry about using the appeals page to tell them this information as I would have to admit I was the driver to validate my proof and thereby potentially bring more harm than good to my case.
What should I do? - surely this can be cleared up easily with my proof emails from the delivery company but that would involve me admitting I was the driver even although I have done nothing wrong.
Please Help.

Try and get Tesco to cancel it. Failing that just ignore it.0

If I email Tesco, who do you think I should write to? and do I state my case as I have done so here, with Proof as attachments. I would be admitting I was the driver however?0

Why would the driver be identified? You could have equally been a passenger, with a family member/friend driving. You might not even have been there, just somebody else using your car that day (while you were at work, for example). You're overthinking this, just get your complaint in.
Better if you could go and face the manager directly, a letter can easily fall into the 'I'll deal with that tomorrow' tray. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

As above, complain to the store manager or CEO. Show him/her the comments in red from the NEWBIES made by our MPs about these bloodsucking cowboys.
The NEWBIES tells you to complain and also tells you why it is safe to ignore PCNs in Scotland.
It also tells you why it is safe to ignore debt collectors anywhere in the UK, but do not ignore real court papers.
Do not identify the driver. You should edit your post to reflect this.

This is Scotland ... complain to Tesco but ignore everything else. Highview will not try a court claim in Scotland, especially against a keeper defendant. (I'm not going to say why - this is all covered in the NEWBIES FAQ).
Note - we're assuming that Tesco can get it cancelled. Silverburn is a retail park so Tesco won't own the land, and the parking contract with Highview is probably with the Silverburn site management.0 -
The car park is owned by Silverburn Trustee Ltd. so perhaps Tesco will take nothing to do with this and I can't find an email address to email the Tesco general manager or Silverburn Trustee Ltd.
The point I was trying to make before about having to say that I was driving the car was simply that showing proof of me signing for a delivery somewhere else and not in their car park, is not proof the car was not parked there. To do that I have to say that I was driving it at the time otherwise they could say that my proof only shows them that I was at home, not my car. Bit of a double edged sword!
The main point here is that I was NOT parked for the amount of time they say and my only method of proving their mistake is to show them proof of the delivery I received and tell them that I was driving. How can I prove the car was not in their carpark at those times otherwise?0 -

2. You are the RK, someone else was driving and told you about it afterwards?0 -

So emailed Tesco's CEO Dave Lewis and complained and told him to cancel the PCN immediately as a matter of urgency and this was the reply I got:
" Dear Mr REDACTED NAME,
I am so sorry you have received a Car Parking Charge in error. This certainly isn't good. Unfortunately, we can't appeal this charge from here, as it was issued by Highview.
If you visit; the web address for highviewparking then Highview can investigate and appeal the charge, as it was a mistake on their part.
I do hope this is resolved quickly for you.
Kind regards
REDACTED NAME
Customer Service Executive to the Board"
I thought everyone that complains to the Tesco CEO gets a result and their PCN quoshed there and then. The CEO's department obviously don't care.
Do I just appeal on Highview's website as he suggests? I was and still am hesitant to do that. What does everyone else think please? I'm not sure what my next step should be here - call the Tesco Dundee parking helpline?0
