By quoting these links are they getting higher up the google search results?
Will more people find this page if people quote the links? Or other?
Avoid them!!! by the way.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
This is the active link and be aware this is a scam site.
Thank you for posting this. The main site actually seems to be a different one; it is "sellit4u" and the "net" suffix.
("Selleo Trading Group" also used a similar two-site setup.)
Since this site uses various html tags to avoid being picked up by search engines you won't find it using a regular web search. But the site is already in a couple of fake site databases nonetheless.
And yes, the idea to use the very high SEO ranking of moneysavingexpert to counter the fake reviews had also crossed my mind. I usually wouldn't do this (because it reeks of hijacking a forum) but since the immediate predecessor was also discussed here at length I felt that this would probably be justified.0 -
Another update: The scammer is operating now under "AberDeal Trading Group".
Needless to say: That's not a real company and should by all means be avoided!0 -
Cannot get more money saving than preventing people getting nothing for their money surely...

Relax.....
I feel very stupid now. I was just about to send a company called AberDeal trading group money for an Audi Q5...but I didn’t. I read this first. I was told the EXACT same story...brother died etc, part of inheritance (I offered my condolences as I’ve been through a similar situation. This is now making my skin crawl), photo of the V5 has been sent, have an invoice requesting payment.....it’s totally the same. Everything is.
Eugh.
Thank you for posting....you’ve just saved me £1000’s. I’ll go to a dealer now like I should’ve in the first place.
Annoyed and gutted, but also very grateful!0 -
Mark.....I’ve had the EXACT same story, everything is totally the same. Except this is through a company called AberDeal. Everything is the same, I’m gobsmacked, except the seller rings from a Switzerland number.
Thank you. I didn’t part with any cash. The car I found was through eBay...an Audi A5.0 -
Linda;
I'm relieved that you didn't lose money in the process. The scammer has already started to pull the fake reviews; and the actual fake site will probably also go down very soon.
Since you are freshly registered you're not allowed to post links; however could you post the item number for the ebay auction? I just want to check if this is perhaps a hacked account.
As far as the story being exactly the same: Yes, that's true. Some of those stories have ben used for years. The scammers usually don't speak English as the first language so all this is often copy and paste. This can be hilarious when you ask about a completely unrelated issue and simply get the reply that is next on their list...0 -
Lightfair...
Listing has been removed. It was a good couple of weeks ago when it was on there. All communication has been via email to the ‘seller’. And yes, you’re right, all sites with ‘reviews’ of the company have now been removed. Makes me feel sick I fell for it! :mad:0
