Can you be more specific, all I could find was a debate about short term lets.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Our practices reflect our commitment to ethical car park management. This can be demonstrated, for example, by our use of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras to provide a fair and non-confrontational approach to enforcement. Similarly, we make allowances for human error and will not issue a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) in any instance whereby the customer has entered their number plate incorrectly by up to two digits.

    that statement should be remembered!

Who will be the first to go
  • the worrying thing , most people have forgotten about , is this new law will come into effect on ??? , but there must be millions of outstanding cases (6 years) which will still be pursued in order to gain monies

if the likes of civil enforcement or excel/vcs were banned tomorrow , they have enough outstanding cases to clog the courts for years
  • Is there no facility for a court to impose damages to such a large amount to a defendant of one of these cases that they might think twice about their outstanding cases?

As we have seen the whole industry is based on intimidating letters and threats of CCJs, is it beyond the County Court to do anything substantial enough to teach them a lesson or must they take each case on its own?

On the other hand, they pay into the system for each claim they file?
  • yes they intimidate and intimidate , and lots pay up , they they risk £25 by starting a claim , and a hell of a lot more pay up the grossly inflated charges and the "supposed" legal costs

at which point they look at the case notes and decide upon the flop of a coin to continue (further £25) or not

the courts cannot stop this as its legal under UK law

Which is utter BS, it is unreliable, sneaky, does not manage parking, cheap and nasty, and if it is so ethical why is it banned for use by local authorities!
