Gosh, you do ask difficult questions! Okay, I have some...
Would the wrist injury cope with it? Could it end up more injured and jeopardise your long term career (in which case the CV boost would be pretty irrelevant)
Do you HAVE to like the music you are playing (I know it must help, but I'm thinking if you are touring, don't you get sick of playing the same things over and over anyway?)
What impact would the world tour have on your life/time with children/relationship?
How long is it for?
Is the money good enough to cope with the negative points?

I'm great thank you! Sorry you're sick though....nasty! You take care, morning sickness is awful.
How's the rest of the family?
I'm loving the morning sickness
Everbody is fine, it was my birthday yesterday and is Sams today so he is a very happy bunny. Though I have a confession to make - I have spent the money my Dad gave me for my birthday (a month ago) on a Wii for Sam for Chrismas. Andy is well and is looking for work - hes at his out-patient app now and is eager to get back to work.0 -
Well you'd think, wouldn't you! My gut said, no way, as soon as I was asked, but then the head kicked in and I started thinking the cash. As usual there's no thinking time with these things, I need to say yes or no kind of now.:A

gooo ooon tell us..I've got an interesting dilemma. I've been asked to join a really really well known singer as a part of her all girl band. The thing is, I hate her music with a passion, it would mean serious world touring (which I loathe) plus I have this wrist injury to think about. That said, it's a hell of a lot of money and I don't think it'd do my CV any harm... what to do? Help?
we won't tell...
Seriously though.. when would it start? Would you have time to get your wrist sorted before??Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

No idea hun, what would it mean to your wrist injury long term
would it make the problem worse and therefore stop you doing things in the future? 0 -

Well, lets say I'd be doing a lot of spinning around and na na na, na na na na na -ing.
Do I need to like the music... um... no, but it helps. Even if I'm sick of tunes it helps to like the stuff a bit, that way we always have fun on stage. If I hate it, it becomes a serious drag from day 1.
I have no idea how the wrist will hold, probably not great to be honest.
And yeah I'd be away for the best part of the year, now, the kids are used to me being on the road and we find ways to compensate. They do join me at weekends and school holidays and we talk loads on the phone. But, it isn't ideal, I miss them and they miss me. With DH touring as well at the moment, we'd not see each other for the year.
It's a shed load of money though.:A
