Claim form from BW Legal

I received a parking ticket as the keeper of a vehicle which dropped off a passenger at the barrier to the Hilton hotel, Newcastle airport in January 2018 and then reversed out and left the airport site, total time taken about 20 seconds. I have ignored all correspondence and have now received a claim form from Northampton court dated 15 February 2019.
I have read numerous threads and am becoming a bit confused, as a lot of the advice given uses abbreviations which I have to guess at what they mean. I was about to complete the claim form online, but on reading some defence statements realise that maybe my defence is too simplistic.
I have read that a parking ticket times out after 6 months, and that due to byelaws a parking company cannot pursue the keeper of the car, only the driver, which in this case they dont have. Is this correct? and if it is should it form part of my defence.
In any case what do Ido next? Help please

No need to guess on abbreviations. They are detailed in post #5 of the NEWBIES thread. Keep reading for a link - or two.
With a Claim Issue Date of 15th February, you have until Wednesday 6th March to do the Acknowledgement of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it. To do the AoS, follow the guidance offered in a Dropbox link from post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread. About ten minutes work - no thinking required.
Having done the AoS, you have until 4pm on Wednesday 20th March 2019 to file your Defence.
That's over three weeks away. Loads of time to produce a perfect Defence, but don't leave it to the very last minute.
When you are happy with the content, your Defence should be filed via email as suggested here:-
Print your Defence.
- Sign it and date it.
- Scan the signed document back in and save it as a pdf.
- Send that pdf as an email attachment to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
- Just put the claim number and the word Defence in the email title, and in the body of the email something like 'Please find my Defence attached'.
- Log into MCOL after a few days to see if the Claim is marked "defended". If not chase the CCBC until it is.
- Do not be surprised to receive a copy of the Claimant's Directions Questionnaire, they are just trying to put you under pressure.
- Wait for your DQ from the CCBC, or download one from the internet, and then re-read post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread to find out exactly what to do with it.
0 - Sign it and date it.

you were correct in starting a new thread, but its the same advice and we only want to give it out once, to all of you0 -
Safety in numbers. Send a pm to the others & we'll assist with one basic defence.
These cases look very winnable.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
