You've been entering 4 weeks and no wins?
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5966152/how-long
I think you might need to adjust your expectations
Most take several weeks to even announce winners!
Good luck.0 -
It really c9mes down to luck mate, how many hours a day are you doing? Once you have been comping on a regular basis for a few months your odds of winning go up a bit, as some comps don’t inform you of a win for 28 days, or just post a prize with out informing you, so can be a case of catch up.
You have to think of it in real terms, a lot of comps get between 2 and 10 thousand entries, some less, some ALOT MORE, so your odds of winning are obviously one in 2 thousand, or one in ten thousand....which are yes,
Retry low. Unfortunately, articles about compers REALLY oversell the actual wins, I have won four comps this year, I enter around 200 a day and spend roughly 3 hours a day, and I have only won ONE pure luck comp! The others were judged.
I look at comping like window shopping, I enjoy the thought of ooooohhh if I won this...etc etc, and I like the fact that each day there’s a chance something good could happen, I also e joy the community on here....
Even seasoned compers certainly go more than four weeks (I think you’re st four weeks now?) without winning anything.
Try to enjoy the window shopping xxx and a win could be round the corner, but remember our odds are low but it COULD happen xback to comping after a 2 year break!! Mission… to win a gift for all my family for Christmas!0 -
As i keep posting on these types of posts
"Some people win the prize of a lifetime on their first entry into one comp, some can enter everything going and go years without winning.."
...dont focus so much on winning. Enter and forget, if you win its a bonus
The media is to blame for the expectations of newer compers0 -
You're about 10 years too late !
There's so many people entering competitions these days that wins are just harder to come by.....Best win ever: Trip to the Galapagos Islands in 20100 -
I have been without a win for almost an entire year now. Its all down to the luck of the draw. You may never have a win. Its not guaranteed xWin Totals 2013 £3331 / 2014 £4815 / 2015 £3067 / 2016 £5617 / 2017-2023 £4106 / 2024 £2500 OVER £23K!!0

Just enter the competitions then forget about them. I just started comping agen after a long break and won 2 comps this month.
Just don't Enter every comp you see narrow them down to the ones you want to win this saves a lot of time.0 -
I've won about 5 competitions in 5 years. Either forget about the win or find a new hobby maybe try surveys they pay.0

4 weeks is nothing at all. Honestly. I've been comping for about 6.5 years, and although I won some good prizes quite frequently in the first couple of years, I'd say the last 3 or 4 years have been rubbish.
The last time I won anything at all was in about October, and that was one book for myself and a set of books for my library. My last (what I'd class as) decent win was January 2018, when I won £250 Asda vouchers. In between the two wins mentioned, I think I won about 5 small prizes - off the top of my head, a breath freshener sample, a Funko pop set, a £25 ASOS voucher and maybe one or two other small things. Certainly not big wins all the time, and definitely not within weeks. There are so many more people comping these days - you've only got to look at how many entries Social Media comps get - but I just treat it as a way to fill my spare time, and if I win anything then it's a lovely bonus. You can't just expect to win, when there are 1000s upon 1000s of entries for every comp.0 -
Ok thank you! Just heard I've won a dog lead!
ill keep trying

I rarely win on comps posted on this forum. Was comping daily for the last few years nothing.
2018 Advent was entering for hours on end and my wins ZERO. 2019 I just enter the ones I like and cut down to 3 days aweek for afew hours.
My advise work more hours in ur job and buy the things you want otherwise it not good.
The other thing you can do is watch other people WIN stuff on youtube in their prize opening.0
