Hi all. I was in a supermarket and at the checkout, the assistant put the goods thru the till and then placed them right beside himself on the counter thus making me lean across the counter to get them. It happened previously so this time I asked him to move them towards me. I then paid him for them and he pushed the change aggressively into my hand. I could feel his hand touch my hand.. Just wondering has any one experienced this type of thing. Must admit I was upset by it at the time but managed not to give out directly to him..

Op if you have an aversion to touching hands/people as many do, perhaps you could consider asking assistant to put any change on the till counter so you can pick it up. If it was an aggressive hand thrust at you? And it happens again go to customer service desk and raise a complaint.

Hope you've had your anti-tetanus/ rabies shots.
Don't forget he'd actually handled your change! Oh, and your shopping . .

Of course, because your lighter things were at the top of your trolley and therefore first on the conveyor, the checkout operator was holding them back so you could pack the heavier items further along first.
