Supermarket tills

Options
Hi all. I was in a supermarket and at the checkout, the assistant put the goods thru the till and then placed them right beside himself on the counter thus making me lean across the counter to get them. It happened previously so this time I asked him to move them towards me. I then paid him for them and he pushed the change aggressively into my hand. I could feel his hand touch my hand.. Just wondering has any one experienced this type of thing. Must admit I was upset by it at the time but managed not to give out directly to him..

Sorry, but this is a customer service rather than a consumer rights issue. Why did you not go straight to the customer service desk/ ask to see a manager of it upset you so much?

I don't think I would give this more than a shrug and get on with life.

I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

Did this happen in the UK ?
I just ask because you use the word counter, Ive not heard that used before in relation to supermarket checkouts.

Anyway why were you upset ?
