How much compost ?

We have a garden planter to fill with compost The internal size being 20cm deep by 80cm wide by 1.4 metres long To me - that looks like 224 litres but composr is sold in 50 litre cubes in B&Q No way do I need 5 of them - they are clearly compressed - but how compressed are they ?

Either that - or perhaps the tape measure was upside down or in reverse ?
No - I am guessing that the bags are filled when dry and extremely compressed ..
Still - it is done now - just have spare compost to put on the garden !
