But if you compare to what else is for sale in the village then yes I would say it's definitely about right price wise, however it is more than I would have initially thought myself.

The general public won't just be looking at your village, they'll look at others unless there's a specific reason not to. Therefore, you can compare with similar properties in a number of villages in your area.


However, don't look at the For Sale prices, look at what's sold in the past year or so and what they went for.


In most places, the market has slowed considerably since a year ago, so you should allow for that too.

Ok thank you I will have a look locally at comparable and see how we look. It's frustrating knowing I have someone lined up willing to pay this price, but how long is a piece of string?!
