Avon - Hints and Tips?

I was thinking of holding demonstration sessions, in peoples home. Basically they'd make an appointment and i'd go round with products so they can try some and i'd give them some samples etc. It's not a party, there'd just be me and the customer and i'm thinking each appointment might only take an hour. Do you think this would help generate orders and is it worth stocking up on demo products and samples out of hello tomorrow?
Thanks x
Alot of effort and time for very little gain IMO0 -

I wasn't sure how effective it would be and I don't want to spend a lot on demo products and samples and not get anything back from it. I might leave it a few months and if i've built a good customer base offer it just to them and see how it goes. Hopefully in a few months I will have a few products so wont have to spend too much more.
How generous are people with samples? Do you put them in each customers orders? Do you do this every month or just now and then? Just wondering....thanks x:heart: Think happy & you'll be happy

I tried with the perfume samples, not alot of response and even got some back.I only order special offers of samples to save money as I only have a small customer base and they're not really big spenders. With the customers that order on a regular basis I always put something in. If they haven't been ordering it's just the book. I'm still quite new
so someone else may have other experiences.

Can I order from Hello Tomorrow 9 when I place my order for campaign 8 or could I only order from that in campaign 7?
Thanks x
Hello. Yes you can order with hello tomorrow 9 with camp 8. remember you back order with every camp just the once. So hello 9 was meant to be for camp 7 but in camp 8 you just back order it.
Hope this helps:oCurrent Debt £38,000:o

Ive just started doing avon and Im on my first campaign now. So far my order total is £270, alot more than I thought it would be, I'm really pleased, but just wondering if Ill be able to keep it up because surely people wont want to be ordering every three weeks!0

I started in the run up to Christmas and was amazed to get a first order of almost £400.
Had a good couple of orders just before Xmas and then it went flat in January and February.
Ive been averaging just over £100 since and only now things seem to be picking up again.....my last order was just over £200
Not sure how the rest of the year will go but Im sticking with it until at least next Christmas.
Good luck. xMake £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -

i thought the same, but not everyone orders every time. i have 180 ish customers, have about 40 orders each time (when ur packing them up, i can assure u thats enough) and my order total averages £400.
ime happy with that, equating back to the hours spent over the three week period, its not a bad hourly rate. ive spent three years building up my customer base and whittling out the wasters, jumping on new people that move in with a room spray to welcome them to area. and ive always got a book on show in the car. another thing that helped was i brought an avon umbrella and used it in the school playground. i got an extra 12 customers, was amazed.0 -
What we found is that the first 2 campaigns were high orders probably because they havent had Avon for quite a while , they now dipped to an average between £250-£350, we have around 80 customers0

My first order was for £336 and I had 21 people order. My AM was really pleased because I got that in just over a week (not bragging, just pleased!) A lot of my customers asked when the next order will be delivered so i'm hoping most will order again. I only did half my territory on my first campaign as my territory is huge so i'm hoping i'll get even more this month. Fingers crossed! Think happy & you'll be happy

Hi all,
Not sure if this is allowed so feel free to delete / move / flame me!
But, if anyone here is in the Coventry area, I would like to become a rep, if there is a bonus or commission or something for signing people up, I would rather someone here get it. So....
Anyone want to sign me up?!
I have a fairly abysmal credit rating and doubt I would pass it. However, if I paid for everything up front would they let me?0
