You get asked to be a sales leader, my wife was asked but turned it down due to other comitments
  • "I have to pay £15 for this campain, i ordered a few samles and things that were buy one get one free and they didnt go through as that :s

Its really hard for me to get customers as so far everyone knows someone else that does it. Does anyone know other ways i can attract them?

If i dont it works out that i am actually paying Avon to do this..."

Keep at it, I was really worried about it all when I started. I felt a bit roped in, and felt that I would be hassling people. I've got my confidence now, even with the rude woman. In retrospect I feel that I could have done more in the last campaign, but then again it's a learning curve and with increased confidence and advice from others I'm really looking forward to the next one.I've even done a newsletter! An idea I got from here.

You can upgrade to a Sales Leader from a rep.
I have been looking into joining and have found out its £15 to be a rep and £25 to be a Sales Leader which means you can recruit people to be part of your team and earn from their sales.

Can any of you avon ladies tell me something? A girl at work did avon for the first time last week. I left the book at home and had to take it in on my day off as she "had to send it back!" Is that true? My daughter did it years ago and the books went in the bin at the end of the campaign.
    Thanks,
    k.

    Thanks shortie for the reply.
I dont know what is going on with my avon lady. We had to pay upfront as well! I have never done that before. I was really annoyed that I had to go in on my day off to give her the book back, so she could return it as "they need it returned"!!. The orders were in and the new book is out already so I really dont understand. I think I will give her a miss next brochure.

That's quite concerning. You do not need to pay upfront. On the order form it even states 'cash on delivery'.

As representatives we are given so many days after an order has arrived to allow time for payment to be collected from customers.

Also the books do not need to be returned, however we do re-use them which is why we like to get them back.

Agree with Sp0z there... she may have wanted it back to reuse it, but it stirkes me a bit mean to make someone come in on their day off... not a good way to keep customers.

And yes, Sp0z is right too that you should only pay ofter you get your goodies... Maybe she's quite new and is still finding her feet / gaining confidence in how Avon works itself?

Yes, Sales Leaders are still Reps. So you have to become a Rep yourself first:
    https://www.avon.uk.com/PRSuite/selling/apply.jsp

then you'll be contacted by an Avon area manager or a Sales Leader and you can tell them you want to become an SL as well as a Rep.
Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam
  • Have created a newsletter to hand out with my campaign 6 brochures, detailing offers, new products and when orders must be received etc, hope this will help me get a few more orders. Have also ordered some samples!

Also, when i am ordering online, it is asking about giro payment number? this is my first campaign, does this mean i have to pay upfront for products? or is this just for when your payment for the previous campaign msut be in?

    Thanks
