Avon - Hints and Tips?

Hello, I'm new on here so would like to say hi to everyone! :hello:

I would like to run a compeition for my customers, is there any advice or guidance you could give me regarding this?

I have some ideas, but would like to find out how to go about them.

I am doing a newsletter for my cutomers each campaign highlighting offers and forthcoming products. This is where I would like to run the compeition. I would also like eventually to offer free gifts (earn some more first!).

I reeally like the loyalty card idea too - I may pinch that!

Hello from a new person over here!!

Just wondering, this is my first campaign, so have been offered a ten pound sample pack i can buy that you pay for split over your first two campaigns, does anyone know what kind of things are in it? also, what are the £5 sample packs offered in hello tomorrow like?

hi all new rep!! dropped off my first 24 brochures on tuesday went to pick them up and recieved a grand total of 1 order and only 10 books returned! (5 binned:mad: )

i have left a book at work but we are down to me and 2 other women now as far as i know the book hasnt been touched.

we have a phone that calls out free my OH suggested ringing the people on the next round to see if they would be interested in a brochure instead of popping them in and risking losing them

good idea or bad??

Thats unbelievable, sorry to ask, but the people you dropped books off with, did you just pop them through or introduce yourself, Im afraid some people in this world dont have the common decency, I can imagine in frustrating espically as you have to pay 4 the books.

I don't think I would phone round - I think people might get annoyed by a "sales call" (and I think they would see it as that). Knock on the door and ask if they would like a book (state when you would collect and that "if they leave it on the step, you will collect without disturbing them") and put a note in at the front of the bag stating (in large bold print!) when you will collect and could they leave the book out for you.

I wouldnt phone i have had that many orders that i have only just given out my book iv had customers phone me up just to make sure that i havent frogoten them lol.

If you put unsolicited material through people's doors, can you blame them for binning it ? We all get more than enough free rubbish put through our doors They're not to know that you may have had to pay for them in this case.

We get the Hello Tomorrow every campaign. If you want to order from it, the order numbers should be by the item descriptions (just like the normal brochures) and are ordered online in the same way. Sorry, if you fill in the paper orderfrom I have no idea how it works

I think the *value* of the items inside is worth more than a tenner, but I've not used mine, so the *real* value for me was nothing. I think this really depends on how you think you might use them

Does anyone know an Avon Rep in the Edmonton (North London) area that would like some Campaign 6 brochures? I ordered them but am going to take a back seat for a few campaigns while we suss out what's going on with DH's job and if I'll end up getting time away from the kids to deliver the bits, lol

Also, I got 2 customer beauty bonus bags but they came through as emeral greeny colour not black... anyone else had this before? The contents look the same but still.....?

Re minimum orders to keep my account open and paperwork coming.... Can I just order Demo and Clearance to keep the account open? I know that after 3 no-order campaigns they close the account, but demo and clearance classed as 'orders'?
