sorry if wrong to post photo with delete if needed.

No no, very RIGHT to post photo :j

It looks just like a proper little magazine doesn't it? Ohh, I can't wait to feel it's shiney new cover... My god I'm obsessed.

I read someone mentioned the magix foundation stuff. i got a little trial dodar of it and i tried a bit on my hand. i dont really get it- it just seems to be a clear foundation that "works for every skin type". We'll have to see how that one goes. Better try it on my face though incase someone asks me about it! eek!

I think the Magix foundation thingy is like "the Emporer's New Clothes" :rotfl:

Naw, in fairness I think it's an improved base coat. I had a Boots one a bit like it years ago that I loved that was discontinued. I actually quite like this Magix but didn't get much of a trial out of the dinky sample they gave us.
  • OOOh I've just shown the picture of the new brochure to somebody at work and they were very impressed and aked "when's that one then"......... could be our secret weapon ;)
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D
  • Ive just recieved my C15 brochures and there quite nice, the cover isnt hardback its just the card is a bit thicker! Also its properly bound like a magazine and its got nice embossing for the Avon bit and the ungaro pic.

i quite like the smell of the new ungaro what does everyone else think?

I give my Mum the Hello Tomorrow magazine to look through as well as the normal customer brochures and to my surprise she has picked out a couple of things for herself which customers have then requested later on. The Ungaro was one of the items that she has chosen so maybe it will be popular. She said that she liked the smell and the makeup freebie that goes with it.

Have sold one of the mistake mascaras so not popular here. One thing that has sold quite well this time round is the Sensuality perfume and free watch. i think maybe people are beginning to think of Christmas (I know it is months away and yet we are already talking about it!)

The perfumes seem to be picking up in popularity.

I did a samples request form this time for the lipsticks that Avon sells and about 20 have been requested. I wonder if people are going to buy the full size ones when they have tried the samples. I am going to do a samples flier each month - one for Anew, one for Skin So Soft, one for fragrances etc. Just to see what might be popular in future, who knows it might be worth it...

The C15 book is really nice and looks really professional. I wondered what it was when I first saw it as it looks completely different to the normal Avon books. Wonder what the customers are going to think???

    Anyway essay over....

    Hi,

How have people done with the anew line fillers?

I bought 4 on the money saver, but none of my customers have ordered any so far.

  • I've actually sold one of the line filler things! I nearly fell over when i saw the order because very few people order the anew range!
Recently i bought the midnight plum nail varnish for myself and i put it on on sunday night and by monday morning it was like chip city on my finger nails!! Has anyone else found this or am i just heavy handed do you think?
My order comes tomorrow with all my lovely pink avon books- im v excited!! xx

  • hello!!!

i became an avon lady last friday!!! i have done little leaflets with brochures that i dropped off so people can tick a box and leave outside if they don't want future brochures.

i also ordered a stamp with my mobile number and e-mail address on it - will save writing stuff on all of those order forms!!!

any other ideas will be gratefully received!! i am starting on campaign 13 so seem to be a bit behind everyone here!!

    loki
it's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:
  • Congratulation Loki! Welcome to the dark side!

My best tip would be to be very very patient! We all whinge but its really fun being an avon rep and you get a little buzz everytime you take an order- especially if you can back order and it turns out to be something on offer where you can choose something free etc! lol

Can you tell me where you ordered your stamp from and how much it cost because i am in dyer need of something like that! xx

I print labels off the PC at the minute because I have a few hundred left over from something. Louise I know you can get stamps off ebay, DIY ones, for about £10. Where did you get yours from Loki?

Also, I used to get my address labels years ago from a place called Able Labels and I know they're still in business online. I'm going to check them out again when I've used up my left over labels.

Loki my top tip is to avoid top tips lol :rotfl: When you get into it, you'll realise that the odd Money Maker might be worth it and that the brochure sale items are actually cheaper when you knock off commission that the clearance sale items! You'll also quickly realise that all the prize draws and free gifts in the world won't entice your customers to order anything they wouldn't usually. Don't work for Avon, let Avon work for you!!

Oh and I can't believe you sold a line filler thing Lisa, I'd have had heart failure too! It's no wonder they're so expensive considering how few of them they actually shift lol.
