  • Well.............collected my books in last night for campaign 3 and think this may be the one to miss next year.

Got approximately £45 of orders so had to buy something myself (needed more moisturiser so it was justified) to make up the £50 minimum order value.

The time I seem to have been given for getting the next book out and orders in seems to be 1 week  so I will combine that with campaign 5 and hopefully people will be ready to spend again.

    Hope everyone else fares better.
    Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £60

that is a good idea about combining books... am getting book 3 out this week and have just realised I have a week - (why isn't it back to normal now??).. think I will get book 3 out to my regulars (which is what I did last time) and then give book 2 out to everyone else this time.

I am thinking of putting some books out at preschool (probably book 4 next week so I catch up with myself iyswim) to see if I can get some more business that way as I seem to have hit the "ceiling" with the houses I deliver too. Am thinking of offering a % of the sales to preschool (which is good for their fundraising) - what % do people reckon?? And would you offer a gift if people spend x amount?

would be really grateful for ideas as I would like to get things going well this year!

Thats certainly a gd idea re preschool, if your offer a % of your profit, I'd say 10%, I wouldnt offer a gift if they spent x amount, as if you give too much away they may think your making a massive profit, and theres a risk that one of the other parents may jump on the band wagon.

  • Hi All

I've decided to sell Avon to make extra cash to help pay off my debts which are currently aroung 16K and I've just signed up for a DMP with CCCS. Anyway Avon area manager visited this evening and I signed up but I'm really worried that I'm not going to be able to start as a rep because of the credit check (think by now my credit score is down the toilet - I'm too scared to check). Did anyone else worry about this and did everything work out ok? Next order is due to go away on Wednesday and manager coming back Monday to see how I've done. I've got a few people who are keen to order but if I fail credit check how do I explain to the customers they won't be getting their order, or will I just have to pay some kind of deposit to secure the order. Sorry if I'm rabbling and if I've posted this on the wrong board.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Beccasmum

We have an existing Avon thread with some useful information in trashcan_small.gifsubscribed.gifAvon - Hints and Tips?

I'll merge your thread with that one to keep the information together.

Good luck with making money :)

  • Hi all ive just got my first lot of orders back from book 3 and with my offer to win the mothers day basket im on £129 thats after 1 trip ive got another 2 to do,so fingers crossed it will work out but i will keep you all informed.
  • I am so annoyed.

I had to return some stuff before Christmas, my delivery is always on a thursday, and I finished work on the Wednesday so I thought I'd be there for the delivery and be able to do my returns.

Instead my guy delivers on a Tuesday and I am not here so I don't do my returns, Now it is too late.

thats 45 pounds DOWN THE DRAIN.

I don't even think I 'll be able to resell it all my customer base is so small and they returned it!

I might e mail my boss and see what she can do.

Buffy, can't the items be added back as returns by Avon so that you can return them next campaign?

  • I am not sure, been reading Hello Tomorrow and I should be able to return them according to that, will wait and see what my leader says.

I think it won't let me return them since they just re billed me for them?

must go to bed! and stop worrying about it

    cheers
