Or you could pay them £23 a month for only 40Gb. !!!!!!?0 -

I know. I didn't realise that until I read the piece in the second link.
I still think it's a good option. You can always change when your contract is up and you have the router.0 -

If you take advantage of the Three deal in my first link, you won't have to... they supply you with one for no extra charge.0 -
Hello,
I'm in a similar position as my Sky broadband package (~7Mb/s) is coming to the end of its 12 month term. No TV or landline calls required. As I see it the options are;
Talktalk £17/month for 12 months, £85 quidco = £9.92 per month
Or do I make the jump to a 4G mobile deal;
Three; £20/month for 12 months "12 month Advanced plan" gives unlimited data, minutes & texts. Some evidence that people have managed to negotiate £11/month by reducing the minutes and texts. Today I cant see anything on Quidco or Topcashback that would reduce the cost. Additionally I would need to purchase a Mobile broadband modem/router. Effective: £11-£20/month + cost of buying a router
Three; £22/month for 24 months "HomeFi" gives unlimited data. Router included. Quidco or Topcashback £55. But doubt there is the possibility to negotiate a cheaper cost becuase no minutes / texts included. Effective: ~£20/month
Did I understand the situation correctly? Has anyone spotted any better deals?
The added "benefit" of Talktalk would be that at the end of the contract there wouldnt be the need to install a new line if Sky/EE/whoever had a good deal.0 -

I want less minutes eg like 200/600 you should end up with 600 minutes for £13-£14 or 200 minutes for £10-£11 this method worked twice now beware do it within your 14 days cooling period.
Using my £11 200 minutes ayce sim card in a 4G tplink router 1200ac update my £70 cashback just been confirmed too works out I'm paying £62 a year for home broadband bargain. Lol
Thanks for this, however, after a number of attempts to express my dissatisfaction with the plan, none of the 7 (!) Complaint Chat Representatives would make such an adjustment.
All of them repeated the same phrase about them not being able to make adjustments to contractual parameters such as a reduction of minutes / texts.
They were also more than happy to cancel my contract (being within the first 14 days) if their decision wasn't to my satisfaction.
Hopefully, the £70 topcashback will be paid out in another 3 months time (or so), making the monthly cost effectively £14.16.
Stil, I'm happy with the deal (off-peak speeds of around 120Mbps down / 33Mbps up, over 80Mbps down most of the time, with the occasional dips to 30 to 40Mbps).0 -
Does anyone know the max number of devices that you can hotspot to when you opt for the sim only option (technically not designed for home WiFi?)0
