Please don't shoot if i'm wrong - new to Quidco. Just looked at "Love and Friends" on quidco who are offering £40 cashback, however when I go to the website all I can see is free register, £40 for free has got to be too good to be true. Anyone tried it?

Please let me know if you've been credited £40 for just registering. Otherwise you're still up if paying £16 for one month and get £40 back.
No reliance should be placed on the above.
• Having just discovered Quidco the other day (how much I could have got back over Christmas  ) I just wanted to say that this thread has been a bit of an eye opener. So thank you for putting it all up here with the tips etc.

Have been running through the site looking at what's on offer and never knew about the no spend stuff until today.
How long til pay day?

• Vanda, if you have online banking you can cancel that way otherwise either call your bank and cancel or pop in and cancel.
It would also be polite to just pop a letter in the post to the mag company and just say you have cancelled as it just wasnt your thing.

Dont you have to receive a certain number of discs before you cancel?

It is a pain in the posterior to cancel , I wouldnt use them again

You can cancel online during the day. It's just during the evenings you can't, IIRC after 8PM. I've cancelled online ahem a few times....:D

i did and found to cancel i have to ring them has anyone had problems with this?

Did mine got the £££'s and just mailed customerservice@creditexpert.co.uk or asktheexpert@creditexpert.co.uk to cancel, no probs...glad I did the FREE trail because on my report there was an address that I was supposedly associated with in Manchester that was nothing to do with me...so I was able to get it removed...

I believe people have signed up for a FREE deal again after a few months...will wait a while and give it another bash!

Cancel it online..if you don't bank online call 08704584401.

If you cancel the DD with your bank you do not have to write to them. They CANNOT then take any money from your account by way of setting up another DD for an annual subscription...if they do your bank can get it back for you.

Hi, this is £20 for a successful application, any credit card on your file will affect your credit limits/history and i will not be party to this. thanks.

Fair point! Personally I want be applying for this card until next month as my M&S cards 12 month 0% on purchases is due to expire sometime in March and need to replace it ASAP. I thought I'd post this here after checking Quidco but not such a good idea if credit limits/history is an issue.
• Just joined quidco today, checked my earnings and theres £29.50 on there already.
£5 Datingdirect, £20 Gala bingo & £4.50 Pocado, and all by sitting on my a**e doing nothing for 1 hour, Im well chuffed.
