I purchased B525 router with 'three' logo version.
That is with three.ie firmware on it.
I read the reviews on amazon for the retail version, apparently you can plug telephone at the Rj11 port and make calls on it.
It doesn't work on mine.
Could other people with retail version of huawei router able to get this function work?
I wonder if mine being disabled due to firmware or if that required something else to get it work.

I have the exact same model and calls work fine but only as long as network is set to auto. If it is set to 4g only calls won't work.0

Thanks.
I just returned the 'three' logo version and temporary use mifi right now.
I was thinking if I should re-order a retail version of B525 or something else.0 -
Were you using a BT to RJ11 adaptor similar to this one? https://www.amazon.co.uk/NEWlink-Socket-Telephone-Adaptor-Converter-White/dp/B079VDV7JW/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_107_lp_tr_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=WXYS5SZTS3K06V8P12CY
I don't think it'll work with just a cable.0 -
