    Indeed it is, which is what weekends an annual leave are for.

    When I recruit people it is often for an urgent need, and I’d be put off if someone suggested that the stress of a degree would leave them needing weeks off, as a degree tends to be less stressful than many of the jobs it leads to. How long do you want off, and as others have said, will the normal gap while paperwork is sorted not be enough?
