Skipton Building Society are increasing rates from Monday 14th, e.g. Cash eISA Saver currently 2.1% will be 2.75%, and Easy Access Saver currently 1.9% will be 2.65%.

Interestingly, there seems to be a slight general shift in promoting ISA funds over non-ISA funds

And Easy Access to 2.75%. I shall be moving my Santander eSaver (slowly) as I have a niggling worry regarding access to my savings with them

Good that might nudge other providers to up their rates.

So Aldermore breaks the 3.00% EA barrier - wrestles intoTop Spot on Top of The Pots and has got Al Rayan sandwiched, holding position 3 at 2.75% as well. (see above post).

Do HSBC allow opening of 2 of these accounts? Just an idea, but could be a way to keep earning 3% with the ability to withdraw what you need once a month on the 1st of the month (immediately emptying the rest of the 1st account to the 2nd account, and vice versa next month).
I've have two of them for quite a few years with just few pounds in, but since the rate hike they are both now topped to the brim with £10K. I have other easy access accounts I can withdraw from penalty free if required. I think I got a letter a couple of years ago saying they would be closed but obviously that never happened.

I found Santander and their eSaver to be a disaster when trying to access my money.

After numerous blocked withdrawals and countless hours on hold to speak to someone to discuss the block and permit transfer, I have recently finally managed to all get my savings back out of them and have now requested the account be closed.

I'll never go near Santander again. It was a great rate (at the time) but horrific in every other way (in my opinion). I'm glad there are now alternatives with the same/better rates.

Works perfectly if you always withdraw to your nominated account. Bit of a pain but avoids their blocks.

Does Santander have a 'nominated account'? It's just a list of payees like any of the High St banks

No I don't think they have a "nominated" account.
