Cant see on the Bank of Scotland website the accounts that pay 3%.

    Can anyone post a link?

HERE'S the link for BoS. Yes, you can have 3 BoS Vantage accounts. You mentioned you've got 1 N'wide Flex Direct. I've managed to open 4 N'wide and am receiving interest on all 4 of them. I think other posters have more than 4 N'wide.

Edit: If you do open BoS Vantage, I recommend doing it over the 'phone instead of online. I know it goes against the grain, but it's very hit and miss if you try opening these online, and far more instant and straightforward over the 'phone.

How do you manage 4 N'wide FlexDirect accounts? If you have found some back-door method do tell, your secret is safe here (as you are anonymous!).
Thank you for reading this message.

No back door method, there were quite a few threads about the Flex Direct account a couple of months' ago. There was a big debate going on by a couple of posters saying that you could only get interest on one Flex Direct account, but loads of posters went ahead and opened 4 (and I think some opened more), and we're all getting interest on all of them - so far).

Can I apply for numerous Nationwide FlexDirect accounts? I have one account already.

I know the £500 a month cant just be circulated between Nationwide accounts so do you just pay in £1K a month from any old account and then take it back out the same day?

It isn't rocket surgery - its in the FAQs ;)

The £1k - not £500 per month - can be paid in from an external account (not Nationwide) & out again within minutes

I keep the max £2500 in my FlexAccount. Each month I take out £1000 + interest from the previous month (you don't get 5% on anything over £2.5k), and then at the same time, transfer back in £1000 !

...Its put me off trying to open another 2 accounts over the phone.

Don't let it put you off, it's worth it in the long run.

Re the N'wide Flex Direct accounts, I've opened 4, but I'm pretty sure some posters have opened more than that. I applied for Flex Direct online, after transferring the £1,000 in, I only left £100 in for the first month to make sure I got interest on it, before putting the max in.

What a nasty response! Rather than be sarcastic - just don't reply. It's not rocket surgery.

What on earth did you find nasty, in my response?

The correct answer to your question was in Nationwide's FAQs about the FlexDirect account - to which I provided a link, to save you the time.

I certainly will not bother replying to any of your questions in future.

I rang BOS to open the above account and was grilled. They wanted to know why I wanted the account and what I was going to use it for! ?

Answer needs to be given that it is to be used for Banking as a Current Account as opposed to for Savings even though for Savings use is real reason.

Can I open more than one FlexDirect account?

"You can open up to four Nationwide current accounts, however you are only guaranteed the 5% AER promotional interest rate on one FlexDirect account".
