My app shows 5.1%. However I put £5000 in the account on 1st December. I received £21.66 interest for December which I believe is 5.22%.
£21.66 is the correct 31-day monthly amount for 5.10% Gross on a balance of £5,000.

Okay thanks. So is the 5.22% that was advertised imaginary or it it to do with compounding?0 -

Investec are increasing the rate of their 90 day notice account from 5 to 5.25%. Just thought this was interesting as seems to be bucking the trend at the moment6

I think it’s changed today as interest has been paid, a whole 4p on £10.
I just hope the 7% regular saver stays at 7%.0 -
