My profit is paid on the 10th, I think it's "montlyversary". I hope 7% RS will stay at this rate, but this is unpredictable, we have no historical record of past performances - this is the first RS from Gatehouse.Bigwheels1111 said:I think it’s changed today as interest has been paid, a whole 4p on £10.
I just hope the 7% regular saver stays at 7%.0 -
Odd/obsessive request I know, but does anyone have the the product summary box document of Metro Bank's Instant Access Cash ISA @ 5.11%, i.e just before the rate dropped on Tuesday. I always like to have the key product documentation.
I opened the account at a branch on Monday afternoon and was going to get round to downloading the PDF - but when I did so today it was for the new lower rate.
So it would be much appreciated if anyone has the PDF stored and kindly uploads and posts a cloud link (Dropbox, One Drive, Google Drive, etc) for it.
Many thanks in advance!
[EDIT ... already phoned them to ask for it to be emailed to me and that was a total waste of time!!]0 -

Thx but it's the 5.11% instant access ISA rather than saver ... and putting that document URL into the Wayback Machine brings up an even earlier rubbish interest ISA from last March. Nothing later.gt94sss2 said:

already posted on the no-chat thread, but thought it worth mentioning here for those that don't follow - Ulster Bank Loyalty Saver 5.2% now only available to existing Ulster Bank current account holders.1

I see Ford have cut their rate to 4.60% from 4.85% - stiil 30days at 4.85% but hope others dont follow this downward trend too quickly..4

I'm not sure what the 'Loyalty' meant at launch, it didn't appear to need any. So maybe they're correcting that.janusdesign said:already posted on the no-chat thread, but thought it worth mentioning here for those that don't follow - Ulster Bank Loyalty Saver 5.2% now only available to existing Ulster Bank current account holders.
https://www.ulsterbank.co.uk/savings/easy-access-account.html
Now: It doesn't say 'existing ca a/c holders as at today's date..', or any effective date. So guess you can apply for a c/a and when eventually opened, you'll be an existing c/a holder and can then apply for the Loyalty Saver?
If so, it can stay where it is, topping ToTP.
Note: On the same page linked it (still) says:
'Whether you're a new or existing customer, you can still open a Loyalty Saver account with us. T&Cs apply.'
AFAICS There are no changes to the original T&C at today 11.50 hrs.
ETA: Moneyfacts now says 'New & existing c/a holders..' & it has retained it as top EA ac for rate.

I do slightly wonder if EA rates will drop so low that the currently bad notice accounts around 5% will actually turn out to be good after all.0

Investec 90 Day Notice is now 5.25%. If my EA rates start to drop below 5% I will start feeding that with some of the cash that’s currently EAZaul22 said:I do slightly wonder if EA rates will drop so low that the currently bad notice accounts around 5% will actually turn out to be good after all.1 -
That's surprising given that 4.85% was hardly troubling the top 20 in terms of rates - and historically over the last couple of years Ford have generally been quite competitive.FindingBBob said:I see Ford have cut their rate to 4.60% from 4.85% - stiil 30days at 4.85% but hope others dont follow this downward trend too quickly..
It doesn't seem to matter what the date of the expected base rate cut is anymore - banks are just willy nilly slashing rates. (well I'm sure there are good business reasons!)1
