  • @flaneurs_lobster, one is the yearly interest rate and one is the monthly interest rate. I had the same email as @Bigwheels1111 for the monthly interest rate reduction.
    Ah, of course. Thank you.

Re: Ford Money Flexible Saver... just received an email from them that for those already with the account, the rate will drop to 4.85% AER / 4.75% monthly) on 17th January 2024 - in other words, that's the 30-day interest rate decrease notice that will bring the account into line with the current rate new applicants receive today.
I'm now getting a second round of emails for each Ford Money account saying the effective date of the drop is January 18th... no reason given for the two different dates.
Still not had the first formal notification yet 🤷‍♂️

If I try to withdraw £25k from the metro bank easy access 5.22% account in the app it comes up with a pop up msg saying I have to allow notifications in phone settings but they’re already on and I can’t proceed with the payment because the pop up comes up every time. Whereas if I reduce to say £10k then no such issue. Has anyone else had similar? I’ve not tried it online yet rather than app.

I have a dim recollection that Metro Bank have a withdrawal limit of £21,000

Thks. Was that per transaction or total limit of all transactions per day?

Just tested and yes £21k and seems like total per day across all transactions as can’t do anything more. Unless this is only an app limit and can do more online. Don’t recall seeing any reference to £21k limit in terms and conditions or product spec but may have missed it.

£21,000 online as well. You could try phoning them, say 'speak to someone' and Ada will put you through (to a queue) quickly
