    Leeds BS Limited Issue Online Access Account (Issue 50) -
    £1k minimum
     5.10% - interest paid on 1.12.24 (when account will be changed)

    Who else is waiting until noon before deciding on whether or not to open this account? It may not be worth it if the Bank of England decides on a rate rise, leading other institutions to leapfrog Leeds.
    Its unlikely anyone else will respond immediately to any boe decision, it normally comes in dribs and drabs over the coming weeks. Its possible some rares will even be reduced/products pulled if the rate is held at 5.25%.
    Ex Sg27 (long forgotten log in details)

    Massive thank you to those on the long since defunct Matched Betting board.

    Wouldn’t hold your breath. If you like the look of a rate, take it now. With EA at least you can just move your money if something better comes along.

    MPC votes 5-4 to hold BR. No change.
    I no longer check the forums as regularly as I used to. If you wish to catch my attention please remember to tag me (@ircE) so I get a notification.

    5 to 4 vote, very close.
  • Heard nothing back from Santander about my 5.2% account (set up online before deadline, but they wanted physical documents sent in post to verify identity) so chased them and they said they have not received the docs!     Sent to exact details they asked me to.

    Annoying, I expect they will not honour that rate now.

    You can also go to a Santander branch with your application reference with your ID and they will upload to your application accordingly.

    Have opened one but am unable to fund it by faster payment as my Nationwide account reports that the account number is not valid.

    Banks don't recognise NWide account numbers until the day after set up. You need to pay into your NWide current A/C & then in my accounts online, transfer funds into the Regular Saver.

    @chris_the_bee

    Although your tip is useful for funding the NWBS RS, noh seems to be trying to fund a Leeds BS account.

    Chase don't require payee details to match, and can be a good option for funding new accounts.
