Maximum amounts (balance) you can pay in, big difference:where_are_we said:Difference between Saffron Esaver issue 20 and My saver ? - ES20 interest can be annual or monthly, minimum opening deposit £10 - My saver interest annual only and minimum opening deposit £1. Have I missed anything?Wondering which one to open or maybe both in case the variable interest rate changes in one but not the other, although I would imagine this is unlikely. I presume withdrawals will be next working day?
Mysaver £10k, esaver £500k4 -
Surprising increase from Saffron on esaver imo, Up 0.50%, just 6 days after they'd put an increase to 4.1% through.
All closed issues NLA also up to 4.6%0 -

This is a recurring question. It's all detailed online, in the product t's&c's.BigBlueSky said:With Shawbrook Bank is there a cut-off for a transfer in/out to be made the same day ? - I assume working days only.
Does nobody read these?1 -
Yes, but nothing beats personal experience. In the past I've had the T&C's say one thing but in practice something else applies. I know the T&C's mention next day but would like to know if this is in fact the case.Barkin said:

showing for me - but remember that if you get interest paid monthly, it will show 4.53% rather than 4.63%BreakingGlass said:

Yes I do get interest monthly but it was showing 4.43%. I just checked again after receiving rate rise text from Shawbrook and it has now changed to 4.53%.janusdesign said:

Yes, I saw @Bridlington1 post, so checked my Issue 19, and was surprised to see it had increased to 4.60%happybagger said:Surprising increase from Saffron on esaver imo, Up 0.50%, just 6 days after they'd put an increase to 4.1% through.

Had not seen any advance notice of this, not that I'm complaining.
That said, I only have a two-figure balance in this account, £10 being the minimum allowed for it to remain open, and don't feel inclined to add significant funds to it, now at 4.60%, as I believe my other accounts, with major funds, are likely to exceed this rate within the next week.1 -
Good increase from Shawbrook - further ahead of Tandem and others who arent keeping up and even Coventry limited access.
As some prefer to ask here rather than check T&Cs Shawbrook debit the account immediately but transfer the next working day (so avoid Fridays) and funds arrive PM. Credits arrive same day with notification.
This might imply 1+ day's lost interest on withdrawals so if shuffling funds it would take around two weeks per lost day in an account paying 0.25% more before breaking even - although while Shawbrook stay on top it's not an issue.0
