Having bought a brand new Evoque for the girlfriend in 2012, I can say hand on heart it is the worst and most unreliable car I have ever bought and I will never buy another Land Rover for as long as I live.

If the delivery delay gives you a good reason to cancel then that is what I would advise. The only positive is that it looks good but everything else from the drive to the functionality to the reliability is shockingly bad. Run away while you still have the chance!
