Yes you can. From the T-Mob website

Text for less on pay as you go

If you're on a current pay as you go plan and you text more than you talk, the best thing to do is change your plan to Text Appeal and get 3p texts.

But if you like to talk and send lots of text too, it may be worth staying on your current plan and buying one of these text bundles.

90 day text bundle Cost Cost per text
(if you use them all)
200 texts £12 6p
500 texts £25 5p
1000 texts £30 3p

How to buy a bundle:

• Send a text message - text 200, text 500 or text 1000 to 879 (texts to 879 are free)
• Call 879 from your T-Mobile phone

If all you do is text, you can go on the Text Appeal plan and get texts for 3p each.

does that mean all i do is top up £12 and then send a text saying text 200,to 879??
