We bought a new Range Rover, it's now nearly a year old. I have nothing but issues with it. It's been to the main dealer 7 times now, it's had seal issues, heating issues and body panel issues.
Luckily it does have 2 year warranty so all this is covered, but this isn't the point. Every time it's booked in I have to wait for 2 -3 weeks for a courtesy car which I understand but it's now getting frustrating. The service is so appalling, I phoned them on Saturday and asked to speak to the service manager and was told he'll give me a ring first thing Monday without fail. I ended up phoning them at 10:30 to be told he'll call straight back, I'm still waiting.
Is there anything I can do? I wish I never bought it, can I claim any compensation?

Hopefully your post will be read by someone looking to buy a new Range Rover and they buy something else.
You wont get compensation - your options are to sell it or chop it in for something else and never look back.
Make a complaint to the dealers and escalate, you may get a free service.0 -

Range Rover reliabilty is famously bad, the brand sells its cars on image alone. I suggest the best thing you could do would be sell it and buy something else.0 -
What Range Rover?
"Full fat", Sport, Velar, Evoque?0 -

I'd start thinking about how to move this car on, WBAC or part ex rather than take the chance on a private sale maybe. Or look at extending the warranty as it sounds like its a lemon and you don't want to be stuck with big bills once the warranty expires.0

I've posted before regarding the Range Rover Evoque; looks great but worst car ever in my 30 years of car ownership and I would never in a million years buy another Land Rover.Every generation blames the one before...
