    I used WinZip some years ago (when I first started computing), not realising that it was shareware for a long time :o. But when I found out I switched to a very good freeware alternative called IZArc.

    Sorry TrishaM :o - yet another one to consider! Or, you can just pass it by - the other free ones already suggested do a very good job too. G
