It's all fine and well to say ignore the popup in winrar after 30 days and continue to use it but it is not freeware and you should pay for it after 30 days or get something free.
I've switched from WinRar to JZip because I had exceeded the trial period for WinRar.
Hence if you continue to use i you are doing so without a license even though it continues to work. K
I used WinZip some years ago (when I first started computing), not realising that it was shareware for a long time. But when I found out I switched to a very good freeware alternative called IZArc.
Sorry TrishaM- yet another one to consider! Or, you can just pass it by - the other free ones already suggested do a very good job too. G
