Aqua Credit Card

Water companies like to apply for CCJ's if customers don't pay 'on time'. Just be careful if you need credit in the future or if you're planning on changing your job and becoming a solicitor or something to do with banking.
A drop on one credit file might not be a drop on the others.0 -
Unfortunately you not liking the company and paying late to make yourself feel better is harming you and not the water company. I doubt they care that you pay your little bill late in the grand scheme of things
How do you know my bill is 'little'? I can tell you now it isn't!! I live in a big house and I think I'm ripped off with what UU charge me (yes I've got a meter by the way)
Your probably right about them not caring, in fact I know your right but its my choice when I pay them.0 -

That doesn't make any sense! they cant apply for a CCJ for me not paying on time?
Sure they can send me reminders and threats but to start the process of 'GAINING' a CCJ against me there's strict protocol they have to follow especially since PAP 2017 was brought in and it starts with a compliant LBA (Letter before action) then if I don't pay, they issue a County Court claim which I can either
A, Pay up
B, do an AOS then defend
C, ignore everything and get a 'Judgement by default' (the fools option)
The chances of me getting a CCJ from this water company are ZERO as I know exactly how to deal with any real or potential Court action.0
