It's good that Barclays didn't charge a fee for the transfer itself, but I'd imagine the exchange rate was a good bit less favourable than it would have been with Transferwise or similar.
(Edit: unless you have the Barclays euro account and transferred from there - in that case it's a good fee-free option.)0
