Weird Sky Q Signal Issues

I got Sky Q installed in my apartment just before Christmas and for the first few weeks or so, everything was great. Then I started to notice slight blips within the signal but didn't bother me too much at first, as being on a communal dish and knew it wasn't going to be perfect.
But as time has gone on, programs have become completely unwatchable. But there's just one thing I can't wrap my head around, and I shared a video a few weeks ago. One of the channels I'm having major problems with, is Sky One. Yet the Sky VIP advert with Emilia Fox comes on and plays absolutely fine. I shot a video a few weeks ago on this for the Sky Q technical forum, and even this was a new one to them;

I've turned off Eco Mode, tried tightening the connections, and even removing my card and wiping it incase of dust. Nothing seems to resolve it. But the issue comes and goes. Last Friday I contacted Sky over the phone and she managed to boost my signal from her end. But this only lasted a few days. And I've just had to get them to do it again tonight, again, works fine after that.
With the Sky VIP advert working, Sky being able to boost my signal from their end, I don't think it's the satellite dish. And if it is then I understand it is the responsibility of my property management.
I'm just wondering if anybody on here as experienced similar issues? Or any recommendations on how to rectify this? I have an engineer coming to visit on Thursday.

We had issues with Sky Q for months intermittently. It turned out to be certain brands of smart TV needed a software patch and/or a specific HDMI cable and/or a certain type of Sky Q box (there are two types) and we tried each of these fixes individually with varying degrees of success, eventually, after changing the box type we had no further issues.0

When I've just phoned Sky up tonight, she asked me if I'd changed my HDMI lead and I explained I hadn't. But I tried it afterwards and didn't make a difference. Although maybe I do need a specific type? I'll also check for a TV update later on!
Which type of HDMI ended up working for you if it was that?0 -

The HDMI was one supplied by Sky as apparently, they are specific to Sky Q ( we paid £70 for our own!) but it didn't make too much difference. Our TV is LG and we had to send off them to for a disc to provide the patch. That didn't work completely either, only the different type of box worked and it took us ages to get someone to tell us about the box.0 -

So box type as in the Sky Q box? Was this just an upgraded box? Or a downgrade back to Sky+?
And yeah I just bought a 4K TV in Currys and the guy was trying to convince me I needed £70 HDMI cables. Pushing it a bit over budget for the TV as it was, I declined the HDMI leads and found out from researching on the internet that there's absolutely no difference between £70 HDMI cables, and £5 ones.0 -

AFAIK, in advert breaks, Sky have the ability to 'insert' individual adverts that are different to the adverts that are being broadcast , in effect to individualise adverts to you , so it's quite possible that when watching Sky 1 'live' you experience the dodgy signal, but when the adverts come on, the good quality advert is one that is played from your Q boxes hard drive, ( downloaded in the background , possibly from the Internet ) rather than a 'signal' from the satellite, which may be less than perfect....this isn't something they just do with Q boxes but HD boxes too.
You may have seen an advert for a small local company ( like I have) and wondered why they would advertise nationally and presumably at great expense when the majority of people watching wouldn't be able to use the company, this is how they enable it, ( local adverts on what is essentially a national platform) perhaps they insert adverts for their own 'products' too0 -

No, there are two different Sky Q boxes, the ports are different.0 -

They do although it's not on by default (wasn't on mine anyway) as it's something you can change by going to your account preferences online and choosing tailored adverts.
I used to work for ITV and whenever we would have issues with the Player (Hub as it is now) the show may not play but the adverts would play perfectly (fantastic way to wind up customers). The reason for that was that the adverts came from a different source to the shows.0 -

Are you referring to the 2GB box? The original had a built in power supply converter and they started pushing out ones with external power bricks due to overheating.0 -

Our box is 1TB but I think the problem did have something to do with internal/external ports.0 -

Oh right, I didn't know that! I'll certainly keep an eye out for it!0
