USB Drive error

When I Insert My card reader into my USB port on my PC a message appears Please insert a disk into USB Drive (f) error. it was working fine yesterday how to I repair or put right please. I have tried different USB Ports on My PC but none work. I am on Windows 10 if that is relevant. Also the read light shows on my card reader confirming it is connected

    Try another reader.

    Or try a different card, since it isn't necessarily the reader

    Once you have tried a different card in the reader to prove it's not a faulty card .. try the reader in a different computer . If it works in there then come back for more advice on how to get it working on yours.
