It still is. The CSP is the customer facing part of the building.
    People say it doesn't matter.
Yet every day people rock up at RM offices for Parcelforce, Post Office and various other random things.
If people started treating them as separate then it would sink in.

The argument that Post Office allow access to RM services doesn't really fly for me.
They also offer broadband, so is BT still Post Office?
Or forget it and call them all GPO?

I agree with the broadband example as RM don't have broadband listed on their official website, however the RM website under Home / Products & Services / Sending / UK parcels clearly states
"We’ve" got a service to suit all your UK parcel delivery requirements.

It then goes on to list Parcelforce right there with the 1st and 2nd class options.

And then people are supprised that people don't consider them separate entities and come to a Royal Mail office with Parcelforce related queries?
    • The rich buy assets.
    • The poor only have expenses.
    • The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.

So the card Parcelforce leave is printed with Post Office as the place to collect the item.
Would you go to Post office or royal mail to collect it?

In that case I would certainly go to the post office, but your post wasn't specific if the "racking up" of people was in relation to sending, collections, complaints or queries. Without the card, it could still be a reasonable assumption that RM would have the answer as Parcelforce is part of the Royal Mail group.

I'm not saying that they couldn't use a bit more initiative in checking first, just that I can understand how they could come to that conclusion.

As George Carlin said: "Just imagine how stupid the average person is... and then remember that 50% of the population are stupider than that!" :)

You will get people going to an RM office to send stuff.
Ironically, one of the main drives of CSPs is to remove Post Office from the equation.
I'm still in touch with loads of RM folk.
In one office near a post office, they will have easily 20 people a day in to collect Parcelforce items.
When told it isn't there they will often argue the card says it does, because it says its at the Post office.
Mind you will also get people in for Hermes etc too.....
