How to setup Freeview Play on LG smart tv

I have a 2017 LG Smart tv. I also have a co-ax point in the wall behind it which leads to an aerial in the roof. I had to move tv out from the wall recently and took the opportunity to connect a co-ax cable between the wall co-ax socket and the co-ax socket on my tv.

The LG user guide says that my tv supports FreeviewPlay and I know that my wifi signal is good as I can run youtube etc on it via wifi from my home router because I already do that.

How do I configure the LG tv to run FreeviewPlay?

Freeview Play is just a link in EPG to catchup of individual programs .
Requires an internet connection is all as its part of the EPG .

^ As above, if you've tuned in Freeview, and you've set up the internet, you're probably already using Freeview Play without realising. Try going backwards in the guide, and you should find that you can stream programmes (not all of them) directly from there, instead of having to fight your way through the different broadcasters' apps.
