iPhones not connecting to _EXT

Hi all. We have 2 iPhones in our house that won't connect to the extender but the Android phones and laptop do. Does anyone know why this might be an issue? Have looked around online but it's a minefield. Thanks if you've read this far.

    Have you tried going into the iPhone Settings/WiFi and seeing if your extender shows up as an available network? Is it using a different SSID from your main router? If you scroll right down past the list of available networks and select 'other' you can manually enter the information needed to connect. That might solve your problem.
