Ryanair Flexi plus ticket

Options
I'm trying to book flights to Salzburg, and I'm confused over the flexi plus ticket option. The baggage allowance is greyed out, so I'm assuming you have to pay extra to take hold luggage. Can someone who has recently used this service please confirm for me? Flexi plus is the most expensive option, but it gets really expensive if you have to pay £50 extra each way for hold bags. Thanks Apologies, originally posted in main overseas travel threads.

Once again apologies. I thought I had deleted the other post, perhaps you can't delete posts. Sorry, Fred.

I booked a Ryanair flight at the weekend. When you have selected your flight you have a choice of 3 options (cheap, not so cheap & not cheap at all). Cheap still allows for on board luggage but nothing bigger than a briefcase and it must go under the seat in front. The other options include overhead locker. Selecting the cheap option then give me the luggage option as a pay for extra though it says max 10kg so I'll need to be cautious here.
I don't mind where I sit so am not willing to pay extra for a choice that may not be there anyway.

I wonder though if they have already filled the lockers. Saltzburg at this time of year is very popular.

Thanks everyone for your advice and suggestions. I finally booked with the plus option, I too really don't care where we sit, but but partner feels we should be somewhere near each other. So I have booked aisle seats C & D, near enough to talk, and pass food.I always find the Ryanair website confusing, and spend several hours trying to ensure that I book what I need. Thanks again, and keep up the good work.
