Hmm I watched the programme.
I missed the beginning. 6 kids sleeping in 1 room will cause a huge mould issues as breathing creates moisture, moisture without ventilation causes mould etc.
Whilst I feel Santuary could have done more, the family didnt seem to be helping the situation.
Looks like dispatches (as usual) did a search for those who wanted to talk. They reported 5% property owned by HA has damp and mould. What they didnt report on was what % of that is wholly lifestyle and what is structural.
95% of HA properties have no reported mould issues..... put that way it looks like a great stat!
The boiler repair was also a little strange. I didn't understand how the guy had retained his dads flat so long after he passed way. Especially as he indicated that his dad lived alone.
I guess my point is All business fail at some point/made mistakes. You only hear about the bad bits. Bit OT from the original OP who I hope had the boiler fixed!0 -

6 kids were sleeping in one room as half the house was inhabitable!
My brother and his family live in a Sanctuary Housing house, its barely habitable and the whole estate should be condemned."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0 -
The family never told the housing association how many people lived there, they thought it was three on the tenancy...the family did all their tumble drying upstairs with no ventilation. It didn’t take into account all the previous times the housing association turned up to do repairs and there was nobody home. Basically they showed what made good tv.0
