Just wanted to vent my annoyance about this weird monologue thread which I consider to be a mixture of strange and annoying.
If we all mark it as spam , will it go away ? :undecided:
(Apologies if it's just me that feels this way - but iv had my vent now)

I thoroughly agree.
It's an odd thread which serves little purpose.
It's just one long diatribe against some solicitors who are already being prosecuted
However, I long ago ceased reading it.
I suggest you ignore it too0 -
Ignoring it is probably the best policy - AFAIK it doesn't breach any forum rules.
TBH I'm now finding it strangely compelling.0 -

Hehe - i was at first , especially waiting for the 'big reveal' when the worlds interest would be 'piqued'
But it soon became clear (page 2) that this was of no interest to anyone atall unless they are local to that town, and it became even more bizarre when it appears to be now just one member with 3 or 4 hats on talking to himself !!
Im sure they have their reasons - and i know i can ignore it - but it just annoys me for some reason so i'v had a vent
Thanks for reading :beer:0 -

You seem to be yet another person who think this forum exists for their benefit and no-one elses.0 -
it has generated interest not just locally but also in The Times, The Telegraph and several legal news site0

The Devita Platt post is benefiting the few not the many. And I am one of the few.
At the moment I am watching a party political broadcast I don’t like, so I will change channel, but I don’t feel compelled to write to the BBC and complain about it.1 -

Like others, I strongly suspect that the supportive "Well done, Paul" posts from "users" who joined the forum only to post on that thread (and now this one) are in fact from the OP himself. Since I can provide no evidence of this, however, it remains only a suspicion.
Regardless, the thread will remain firmly at the bottom of my reading list until it eventually dies a natural death.0 -
What I find strange is how Paul Varjak obviously has a specific obsession( sorry" interest") in this stuff but has been totally unwilling to state what it is, which makes it a bit creepy .
I'm another one who is pretty sure he's talking to himself .
For pity's sake man, just spit it out what you are trying to not so subtlely
achieve here :T0
