Additional order (food)

Good morning all
!
I get food delivered by a company call Muscle Food.
!
I have a repeat delivery option, so every 2 weeks I get food delivered with payments taken a couple of days prior (this is not a subscription service or anything similar). Prior to payment being taken I will get x2 emails, 1 saying payment being taken, and 1 saying I now cannot change my order.
!
This weekend just gone, I went on their website to check when my next delivery was due. Clicking on my next delivery date it showed it was due on the 27th of February. I thought that this was odd. However it let me change the delivery for today (Wednesday the 13th)…I needed food (!!!!) !
!
Yet, upon checking my bank account last night it appears they have taken two payments. Therefore, it appears that my “original” order was already in process (despite not having any confirmation of such and the website not telling me such), and then when I went on I unwittingly created another order by moving my next delivery date to today.
!
I have still not had any emails from the company. The only reason I knew something was due to be delivered was after a text from Yodel.
!
As it is food, it means that my “second” order will probably end up in the bin as I won’t have space to store/freight/freeze it.
!
I am waiting for a reply from the company.
!
Any ideas if I can do anything about this? Although it might be my “error”, it was a mistake due to usability of their site on them, not following their usual process.
Thanks!

The Contract between us will only be formed when we send you the Dispatch Confirmation.
So, have you received dispatch confirmation? If not, get on to them sharpish and withdraw your offer before they accept it and a contract is formed. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Thanks for the heads up on their customers service contract.
I have now received both deliveries, yet no confirmation email.
I have stored the good the best I can, but am sure some will have to go elsewhere.

Have you checked your spam folder? It would seem strange that you've always received the emails and they most likely have an automated system to send emails but you haven't received them for both of these orders.
Are there any reports online of this has happened to others to suggest that there is a system issue their end?0 -
Weird how I ordered once from them and I’m getting constant emails about fictitious orders, asking me how I’ve enjoyed the meal prep they sent, it’s constant texts and emails! Maybe I’m getting your emails OP 0

It's just a bit of clever marketing to keep them in your mind to hopefully order again. You are less likely to ignore such advertising if you think it's an error...KatrinaWaves wrote: »Weird how I ordered once from them and I’m getting constant emails about fictitious orders, asking me how I’ve enjoyed the meal prep they sent, it’s constant texts and emails!0 -
Randomly, I cleared out my spam folder the other day (can't remember when).
It would be strange for them (two of them) to start going into that folder as no other MF one has.0 -

I just find it odd as its so specific, talking about curry mixes which are nothing like my original order.
Youre right though, it definitely made me check my account had no recurring subs on, thus sending me to their site. now I just check my bank account though
