  • CANDYGIRL want to bet!! My patio is beginning to look like a lawn it's that green!

NAN I think your get up and go has taken mine with it. I just CBA doing anything these days. I tell myself I will feel more lively once we get some nice warm sunshine. The sun some of you are getting today has passed us by but we are now forecast it tomorrow and Friday. Hm we'll see!

DD popped in this morning to deliver a child's dressing gown she had got in Sainsbobs. 50% off in the sale and then a further 25% on top as they are having yet another TUI event. She thought I might want it as a present for one of my great nieces. Not bad for £3.75! I'll put it away for her birthday!

Just sliced up what remained of Sunday's gammon. Some left out to have with salad and hm wedges at tea-time and the rest has gone into the freezer for sandwiches.

Enjoy the rest of the day if you can folks xx

  • Afternoon all. Have been out to Wells this morning for a look round the market and a coffee. Lovely atmosphere with a woodwind quartet busking and loads of people meeting and stopping to chat with each other.

Popped into Wait Rose as hadn't taken anything out of he freezer for tea. Mr Gintot fabcied haddock fishcakes so we got those..

The price of mealworms for the blackbirds and robin was extortionate so we came home and went in B and M to get some. Then home for a late lunch in which TA's lentil and bacon soup figured.

Well hugs to poorlies and worried. Have a good day folks

Bozwood sorry your'e having a troubled time at work. Personally I believe it would be a good idea to wait until your DD has left the school.

    Morning everyone

I need to go and collect my prescription from the pharmacy this morning. Someone took it for me on Saturday so I hope that it is ready. Just recently I have done this and when I’ve gone to collect it it isn’t ready and I end up waiting while they sort it out.

I’m going to the coffee morning of a local club to see if I am interested in joining. I want to try and expand my social circle a bit and this club sounds like I will have things in common with many of the other members.

Other than that, it’s mainly a sofa day again, apart from a small amount of hand washing I need to do and putting away the shopping when it is delivered.

It was nice to have a catch up with my friend yesterday, and the apple cake went down really well. What was left is in the freezer for another day.

Nanny and TA I think my get up and go has run off with yours! It has been missing for a long while now.

Candy I hope that you managed to find a gas fire that you like.

I hope you enjoyed your magical mystery pub tour, and had a good lunch taff.

Snoozer I’m sorry to hear that Steve isn’t improving.

Whatever you are doing, have a good day everyone.
