Hi.
I wonder if anyone can give me advice please. Normally i have a dd of £200 per month for the above bill with the company unicom but today I went to my bank and they have take £3300 from my account. I called them and they said they money is theirs as I owe them this for the years bills as The £200 was an estimate.

Where do I stand with this. I cant afford for them to be taking that from my account.

Any advice please?

ofcom - are you sure this is the correct name of your supplier ?

Check your emails as see if they have given you advance notice of the DD - if not contact your Bank and get them to reimburse you the DD.

Have you ever looked at your bills ? What was the bottom line on your last bill ?

    Doesn't sound right.

It is not normal to pay water and electricity together, are you sure?.
£200 per month sounds a lot never mind £3300.

Consumer law doesn't apply here, I assume hairdressing shop would use far more than a consumer too, hair-dryers etc use a lot of energy, having said that I assume you been under paying and this could be a big catchup bill. Can you post your usage over some dates

As per my post #5 - meter readings please

This forum is primarily domestic the contracts for business can be complex.
