But for an Irish citizen we do, as there are agreements in place between the UK and Ireland that are independent of EU membership and won't be changed if / when we leave.I have lived and worked in the UK for over 17 years, I have an NI number of course. I just happen to have been born in France. So I wouldn't put any weight on the "having an NI number is all you need" thing. Nobody knows what's gonna happen.
