    The first stage would be to make a formal complaint to them in writing. Stating "Complaint" at the start of the letter, and outlining exactly what you want from them. Send it by recorded or signed for post and check the delivery.
    There is then a time limit for them to reply.

    I’ve told them unless they wave the 1.5% fee for transferring mums isa to dad I’ll do it myself

    No waiver and you'll wave goodbye?:)

    Update : self managed transfer underway - no issues. Dad's isa in progress mum's awaiting probate

    Still no response from advisor on 4th polite time of asking via email for details of a) what the services should be and b) what services have been provided

    Formal complaint letter issued today along with request for copy of complaints procedure

    Will update thread as and when
    Left is never right but I always am.

    By way of update ;

    Isa transfers complete without issue

    After kicking off formal complaint the advisor called my dad directly asking him to ask me to stop ..... I wasn't happy about them doing this and personally think we should have carried on but my dad wanted me to just drop it so I have

    Feel like the advisor has been let off too easy but dad's wishes and well being are what matters most so will just forget about it now

    IMO that in itself is not very professional (of the advisor), but I can understand your decision. Hope you get everything sorted out OK in the end.
