I'm really surprised. I opened my Marcus savings account last October, I log-in very regularly, and I'm always sent a PIN to my choice of email address or text to my mobile. I remember something about this when I was registering.

Have the settings in your browser been changed since an update, which means the cookie has not been removed? The browsers auto-update whenever a new update is available.

Thank you for your replies. I always receive a PIN as I suffer from OCD, Obsessive Cookie Deletion. The only reason I didn't receive a PIN the other day on log-in was presumably, as stated above, something remained on my device as an identifier. Thanks again.

Signing into Marcus seems less safe when compare to other banks. Just an email address and password.

It's backed up by a cookie on your device and 2FA. I only log on to my Marcus account every few weeks and I can't remember the last time I wasn't required to enter a code sent via email or SMS. Don't forget you can only withdraw to your nominated account
